Shane Ray is the heart behind Hometown Roofing & Restorations. With more than 25 years of business experience—from the mortgage industry to home flipping—Shane brings a deep understanding of both the construction world and the needs of his Birmingham community. A lifelong local, he and his wife, Holly, have raised three children and remain actively involved in faith and community through Church of the Highlands.

Driven by a passion for hard work and long-term success, Shane is focused on building a legacy that goes beyond business. He strives to create an environment where employees can grow lasting careers while providing top-quality service to homeowners. When he’s not leading his team, Shane enjoys spending time with family, especially traveling to St. Thomas or cruising to new destinations.

Hometown Roofing is proud to have Curtis Freeman serving as Director of Operations. Originally from Anniston, AL, Curtis grew up across the South before his family settled in Birmingham, where his father owned a local gas station. Those early experiences taught him the lasting value of small businesses and their role in the community. With more than 30 years of experience in management, sales, and distribution, Curtis has led both major corporations and local businesses, bringing a deep understanding of customer service, efficiency, and growth.

Married to his wife, Stephanie, Curtis is a proud father of six and grandfather of three—with one more on the way. Family is the foundation of everything he does, both personally and professionally. When he’s not leading operations, he enjoys home projects, hunting, fishing, watching his kids play sports, and cruising with family and friends. His leadership, experience, and values make him an ideal fit to help guide Hometown Roofing’s mission of serving customers with honesty, affordability, and excellence.

Ryan Jennings

VP of Sales & Marketing

Hometown Roofing is proud to welcome Ryan Jennings as our Sales and Marketing expert. A lifelong Trussville resident, Ryan has spent 45 years building relationships in the community he loves. He’s a devoted father to his son, Gage, and an active youth soccer coach with Trussville United and Alabama FC. Ryan has also served in local church music and youth programs, reflecting his passion for mentorship and community service.

With over 25 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing, Ryan has led major accounts and managed multi-million-dollar budgets for national brands. Known for his consultative approach and dedication to excellence, he focuses on delivering real results while building long-term relationships. His leadership, integrity, and deep local roots make him an incredible asset to Hometown Roofing as we continue to serve our customers and community.

Jeff Treadwell

Senior Project Manager

Hometown Roofing is proud to have Jeff Treadwell as our Senior Project Manager. A lifelong Odenville resident, Jeff brings over 30 years of customer service experience and a broad skill set from various trades. After graduating from St. Clair County High School and studying HVAC, he spent two decades driving commercially across the Southeast before successfully running his own landscape business for nine years. His diverse background and commitment to quality make him exceptionally equipped to lead projects with precision and care.

Married to his wife Amanda for 30 years, Jeff is a proud father to two daughters, Lydia and Macy. He’s deeply involved in his community through coaching girls’ basketball and softball and serving at Victory Church in Pell City. Motivated by a desire to provide for his family and create a lasting legacy, Jeff’s strong work ethic and dedication to excellence make him a perfect fit for the Hometown Roofing team.
